Dakota Holloway Promoted to Senior Director of Commerce Operations

Heidi Grant, Senior Executive Officer of the Division of Commerce, has announced Dakota Holloway’s promotion to Senior Director of Commerce Operations for the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Dakota started his career at Choctaw Casino & Resort—Durant in 2014 and has served in multiple roles, including Reporting & Analytics and Financial Planning & Analysis. He joined the Commerce team in 2021 as the Senior Manager of Operational Support and was promoted to director in 2023, where he oversaw multiple areas, including the Commerce Uniform Department and Commerce Capital administration.

“In his new role, Dakota’s oversight will include retail venues, Pricebook administration, and tip compliance across the Commerce division,” Heidi says. “His expertise will help us improve operational efficiencies and optimize and standardize operational processes across the division.”

A proud Choctaw Tribal member, Dakota was born and raised in the Durant area and graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a degree in Marketing. His values align with his mission to foster growth and success for the Choctaw Nation.

Outside of work, Dakota enjoys traveling with his wife, Brandie, and hunting with his son, Oliver.
