Associate News and Information Now Also Available via Hoshonti

Published on: March 26, 2024

The Division of Communications in partnership with the Hoshonti Project team is pleased to remind associates that CNO Associate News is also accessible by associates via their Hoshonti as well as via the Associate Site for news.

The additional communications channel enhances associates’ ability to access Choctaw Nation internal news and information content and ensures accessibility to communications content for all associates now that the information is also posted on each associate’s Hoshonti (as an app), a critically important aspect of the project, which targeted reaching all associates, including those who do not have a CNO-issued device or a CNO/CNHSA email account, or access to SharePoint.

The selected platform, Hoshonti, was chosen after a focus group was held at 10 different Commerce locations to gain the associates’ perspective on how best to provide them with easier and increased access to important associate-focused communications and information.

The Associate Site for associate news also includes a tab (at the top of the homepage of the site) to access recently deployed “All-Associate Updates” from Chief, Assistant Chief, Human Resources, Choctaw Nation Occupational Safety and Health, and any other important messages directed to all associates.

Note, associates who previously had access to SharePoint (and the intranet) still have access to SharePoint to view or download information from Frequently Used Forms, the HR SharePoint, and IT SharePoint pages. The SharePoint link to access those tools is available as a dropdown in the CNO Associate News site via the “Resources” tab.
