Set Free

Galatians 5:13

“For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love, serve one another.”

Freedom in Christ is an experience unlike no other. It is as if being loved and accepted by Jesus makes it possible for us to love and accept ourselves. Though sinful, we bear the image of God. From this sense of love and acceptance comes a new kind of freedom. This kind of freedom motivates us to serve others. It is for this reason Christ died for us. We obey the will of Christ, not of legal requirements, but out of love and gratitude.
